![]() The first phase is her normal form, where she uses a blend of ranged pinwheel attacks and her dog, Angelo, not unlike her gameplay in FF8. Rinoa’s gameplay can be split up into two very distinctive phases. Check out Rinoa’s gameplay trailer below: Well, it looks like we were right, as Square Enix has revealed today that the reluctant sorceress will be making her way to the game this coming August. Back when Locke was revealed, we guessed that it would be Rinoa Heartily, from Final Fantasy VIII. Square Enix had previously revealed that character #3 would be a female from the latter half of the games. Can’t wait to try her out. With FFVI’s Locke having joined the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT roster this past June, fans of the Final Fantasy brawler have been wondering these past few months who Square Enix would reveal as the 3rd DLC character for the game. Pokdepinion: Personally, I would think that it would be tough to have Rinoa in a game like Dissidia Final Fantasy NT but looking at the trailer, it actually seems pretty good. If you’re interested in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, you can also check out the previously-announced DLC character, Final Fantasy VI‘s protagonist Locke Cole. If you’re not familiar with the game and want to read more, you can read our review and see what we think about it. Game Director Takeo Kujiraoka did mention that he wanted Rinoa and Angelo to be added to the game. I don’t know about you, but looking at her renewed looks, I really wish that Square Enix would release a Final Fantasy VIII remake. Alongside the announcement, we get a trailer introducing Rinoa, which you can watch below at the top of this post, which shows the first gameplay and her full move list. ![]()
